Biography
Henry Herbert Lartey was born in Osu Christianborg, a suburb of Accra in the Greater Accra Region, on 13th February 1954. He is a member of the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP), a party founded by his father, Henry Lartey, in 1996. Henry Herbert Lartey's gained national attention when he was nominated as the flagbearer of the GCPP in the 2012 general elections, following his father's death in 2009. As flagbearer, he advocated for prioritizing agriculture to drive Ghana's economic growth through domestication. In the 2012 elections, he secured 38,223 of the total valid votes, less than 1%.
