Zimbabwe: July 14 and 15 Set for Special Voting
The Electoral Commission of Zimbabwe has set July 14 and 15 as days for special voting to allow those who will be on duty during the July 31 harmonised elections a chance to cast their ballot.
ZEC chief elections officer, Mr Lovemore Sekeramayi said 209 polling stations have been set nationwide for the exercise. He added that postal voting would be done during the two days.
“Those who will vote during special voting include members of the uniformed forces, election officials who will be away from their voting stations during the actual polling day,” he said.
“Also for consideration are diplomats and officers who are on peace keeping missions.”
