Ivory coast Elections finally over

Paul Yao N'Dre, president of the Constitutional Council said “the top legal body now accepted Ouattara won the election”.
The political atmosphere in Ivory Coast has been in turmoil for the past four months since the November 2010 presidential elections, when the council headed by Paul Yao N’Dre declared Laurent Gbagbo winner by annulling thousands of votes cast in favour of Mr. Ouattara in parts of the, contrary to the results declared by the Electoral Commission that declared Ouattara winner.
These conflicting results led to clashes between followers of the two fashions and reports indicate that some 3, 000 people lost their lives and a million people were displaced during these clashes.
