#EgyptElections: Opposition Leader Threatens to Hang Those Calling for Boycotts
Opposition Presidential candidate Moussa Mostafa Moussa has threatened to hang those calling for a boycott of the country’s upcoming Presidential elections if he wins.
In a recent interview with a local TV station, the sole challenger to President El-Sisi for the March Presidential election said he will "put those who called for boycotting elections on trial" for "high treason."
Mr. Moussa contended such calls threatened to harm the country’s international image and its relations with foreign countries.
Several Presidential hopefuls have pulled out of the impending elections for concerns about intimidation and harassment by the present administration.
