UDF meets on Tembo
Opposition UDF MPs meet this week to decide who to endorse as leader of opposition when the House elects the new incumbent.
UDF parliamentary spokesperson Mahmud Lai said in an interview yesterday the party would pick its candidate this week during their caucus.

Anti-JZU MP attached
Police in Lilongwe have arrested eight people in connection with the stoning of a vehicle belonging to Lilongwe Msozi North MP Geoffrey Kamanya at Parliament buildings yesterday morning, police have confirmed.
Kamanya is one of the four MPs contesting the appointment of MCP president John Tembo as leader of opposition.

House forms committees
Parliament has finished constituting its working committees and names will e announced later this week, Speaker Henry Chimunthu Banda has confirmed.
Chimunthu Banda said that there were currently fine-tuning them.
